Insurance Information
Do You Accept Insurance?
At William Floyd Counseling Center, we are an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. This allows our therapists to focus on providing personalized, high-quality care without the limitations that insurance companies often place on mental health treatment.
While we do not bill insurance directly, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that may reimburse you for a portion of your counseling costs.
How Does Reimbursement Work?
After each session, you will receive an itemized receipt. Upon request, we can also provide a Superbill—an industry-standard document that includes the information your insurance company may need to process an out-of-network reimbursement claim.
You simply submit the Superbill to your insurance provider, and if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, they may reimburse you according to your policy.

We Recommend Checking With Your Insurance Provider
Because every insurance plan is different, we encourage you to contact your insurance company before beginning therapy. Here are a few questions you may want to ask:
-
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
-
What percentage of my therapy costs will be reimbursed?
-
Is there a deductible I must meet before reimbursement begins?
-
Do you accept Superbills for reimbursement?
-
Are there any limits on the number of counseling sessions covered?
Questions?
We're happy to answer questions about our payment process and provide the documentation you need for reimbursement. If you have any questions about using your out-of-network benefits, please don't hesitate to contact our office.
