A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT MARRIAGE AND COUPLE’S COUNSELING
Traditionally Marriage and Couple’s Counseling has been conducted like most therapy, with weekly or bi-weekly sessions occurring for as long as the couple needs. This therapeutic style works wonderfully for those who have the time to dedicate themselves to it.
For those who find time more limited, or are in a more immediate crisis, there is an additional option. Marriage and Couple’s Intensive Therapy is like traditional weekly scheduled therapy but condenses these sessions into fewer but longer sessions.
Intensives are a wonderful tool to help begin the process of healing and to introduce a couple to new ways of communicating and problem solving.

For couples who are looking to improve their relationship in extended sessions, Dr Shevy offers intensive couples therapy. Intensive couples therapy is a distinctive approach that typically consists of concentrated therapy sessions. This method can be particularly beneficial for couples facing high levels of distress or dealing with complex issues that require more focused attention.
Additionally, intensive couples therapy services provide a distinctive and comprehensive approach to relationship counseling. Dr Shevy offers four-to-six-hour sessions. These longer, one-day sessions aim to facilitate immediate transformation in couples' relationships.
Cost for 4 hours with Dr. Shevy: $750
Cost for 6 hours with Dr. Shevy: $ 1150
Dr. John and Janet Raymond offer a 14-hour Intensive that take place on a Friday and Saturday. More information is here:
Dr. John and Janet Raymond offer couples' intensives. John and Janet both work with the couple to develop a plan for the 14-hour 2 day session, addressing the unique situation of the couple. Being both licensed and married, John and Janet offer a range of education and experience that has helped many couples learn to address complex issues and revitalize their relationships. This intensive offers an opportunity for each couple to meet with both therapists and to meet individually as well.
Cost for this 2-day session with both John and Janet: $4500
